dang nab it! will it ever stop. Im so sick and tired of hearing about anna nicole smith and britney already! No matter where you at its there! It flooded in the papers, magazines, and is on every news channel! let her rest in peace already! Who cares waht britney does. Isnt there anything more interesting important stuff they should report! For example like our economy, crime, Iraq, Iran, N. Korea, politics. Enough is enough! Sorry for the rant. i just have to get it off my chest.

I tripped out when they said she had lupus. Ok come on news media what else did she not have. If it's one thing then it's another seriously. Everytime I see her story there is always something new. Just lay her to rest already, I mean her whole is a court showcase, Anna didn't go a day in life without being in court.

The only way for this things to stop being talked about is to stop talking about them, stop thinking about them, just stop giving it your engery and time. that is when they go away! just stop. don't talk about what we as a world doesn't have, but talk about what we want for our world and only think about that. that is when the good things start to happen. if you want to learn how to do that you can check out my website in my profile and go to the secret tips.

I understand how you feel, but for the most part, these are the stories that the media believes is the consensus of what people want to know more about. I agree with you that enough is enough, but we can ignore the TV or only watch the stations we want, and if it wasn't Anna Nicole or Britney it would be someone else that we'll get sick of hearing down the road, so until that time comes we have to just put up with it. The other more important stories are the ones that generally people are trying to ignore, because it's a lot more frightening and they probably feel helpless to do anything about. But I do feel your frustration, and at least you got it off your chest anyway. Good luck. Try not to get too stressed, life is too short.

Why? Doesn't everyone just love Britney and Anna?
Britney shaved her head and went to rehab!!
What about Lindsay and Paris???

Everything becomes yesterday's news eventually. Unfortunately, some things take more time to drop out of the spotlight than others.
No one is forcing you to read the articles or watch the news reports. You could always tune it out if it bothers you that much.
I wish they'd focus on more realistic current news issues (like those you mentioned). Those sorts of topics seem to be "too real" for today's society, so they focus on gossip instead.
Why focus on real world issues like the economy or global warming, when we can talk about Britney's underwear fiasco?!
[That's sarcasm folks, for those who missed it.]

I couldn't agree with you more. Every night after the news all there is on TV is more crap about what another flaky celebrity is doing. I don't understand it either. It's hard to get people to be interested in world politics, pollution, crime etc. But, they know all the facts about Britney and Nicole.

The news sources carry the stories that people care about. Unfortunately, people are more interested in celebrities than they are in world events. A few years ago it was OJ Simpson and Michael Jackson.
I find the best source of news is college radio. They tend to report on actual NEWS instead of entertainment.

To end it all I would say let Nicole be bured in the bahamas and let Larry birkman have the baby he does not want the money only the baby the only one that wants the money is the mom and howard

yes, i'm very sick of hearing about her too, i mean there are probably hundreds of people who have gone through the same thing...i.e lost a loved one who left behind a child ect... and possibly had some things happen in their lives too that are just not publisized....big woop! honestly ... all i think about is how utterly dumb this person is to have the public even know of all this.... what a messed up life! anyway, i have more important things to do with my time then waste it on nonsense about her and its truly sad that the baby has to live her life with the mayhem in the background... hope she won't be wreck and a menice to society

I'm sick of hearing about it too. Sometimes I wish there could be a news station that didn't cover "entertainment" or celebrities and just covered world events dealing with the countries you mentioned, my country's news and maybe national weather. Even a few minutes for a little world history would be better than the Britney crud. And as for poor Anna Nicole Smith hasn't her life been enough of a spectacle? I mean, have a little respect.
