Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He didn't get a THIRD term for nothing. He not only steered the good ol' U.S. of A out of the Depression, he also lead the world in standing up to that guy with the badly-trimmed moustache. He did all that while sitting on a wheelchair. No Reagan-soundbite can top that.
