My husband and I went to Hongkong and it was a super trip!!! We stayed in one of the hostels along Nathan Road in Kowloon part. It was a small hostel. The facade was not good but our room was nice even though it was small. There were two beds, private bathroom with 24 hours hot and cold shower and it was an air-conditioned room. We took the airport express going to our hostel. We ate at Mc Donalds, KFC, Maxims in Causeway Bay and other Chinese restaurants. I enjoyed the Ocean Park part. I enjoyed the ride - Abyss...it was so wonderful. We were able to explore the island well using the MTR and buying the $HKG50 ticket -unlimited ride / 24 hours. The trip to Lantau Island and riding the Ngong Ping Cable Cars was so unforgettable. The strawberries in Mongkok was so big and tasty. The long stretch of markets along Mongkok really burned some pounds. We were able to buy some Giordano and Bossini shirts on sale. It was a very memorable trip and we really wanted to go back.
