at the moment i'm doing yogalates at home. have a dvd. i also ahve yoga for absolute beginners but found it a little too much for me. so taking it easy w/ yogalates 1st and then will try it in a couple of weeks. but as soon as i complete it i feel really good. gives me so much more energy. really is good for the mind body and soul.

Yes,it can.Doing yoga or mediation is a good method to reduce mental tension and stress.I am practicing kundalini yoga for last 3 years.
