well mother is first person who comes in my mind when someone talks of god. as i havent seen god so i can say that mother is best description of god.

Amoung Hindus mother is considered as a God.The first importance is given to mother,then father,then guru or the teacher and finally the God.

That makes sense to me. Mother is the closest to the child, and God is closest to the people.
