Okay I have not experienced this, its just something that came into my mind. If you caught your partner (husband,BF,special someone) cheating on you which would hurt more, caught him/her cheating with someone you knew(family member, friend) or cheating with a stranger?

Anyone I know, not a doubt in my mind!
A stranger is bad enough, but if I caught them with someone I know, that means I have to cut two people completely out of my life. I hate cheating with an undying passion, and I think I hate people who do it even more. That's just an unpardonable offense. I'm a very forgiving person, but not if you wrong me that badly! I just can't do it!

Definately cheating with someone you know hurts worse. Because then you have been betrayed by two people.

cheating with someone you know is definitely more hurting and provokes us for revenge.Though me too have never experienced it nor have any wish to do so.But it is quite natural this feeling comes automatically.

I agree with the PP. Someone you know would hurt much worser. You have lost 2 people that you cared about. If it is a family member, you will have to see them at family reunions & things like that. That would be hard, to have to face them. Espically if the 2 ended up together & you had to see them huggin and kissin all the time.

If he cheated with somebody I knew, then that would definitely hurt. You've just been betrayed but two people you cared about. It's like they didn't give you that much respect nor did they even consider your feelings. It would take some time before I can get over their betrayal.
