40. Matthew is making pancakes and the recipe calls for 4 parts milk to 3 parts flour. If he plans to use 1.5 cups of flour, how many cups of milk should he use? a. 1.5 b. 2 c. 3 d. 4 e. 5.5

To get the answer all you have to do is divide 1.5 by 3 and multiply by 4. 1.5 divided by 3 is 1/2. 4 multiplied by 1/2 is 2. So the answer is 2.

This question is far too simple and would be 2 cups of milk to make up the correct ratio.
