Do you actually plan for the future?!? If something were to happen to you today wold you be able to still make it as an individual?
One of my family members just reciently lost their job and their family was living from paycheck to paycheck not saving a single cent. They were making GREAT money with their job and there was no reason they could not save some of it back just in case but they never did and now they do not know what they are going to do.
This situation has gotten mee thinking.... How many people keep a reserve for just in case? I know that I do although I do not have to worry as I am on disability but anything can happen at any time. So please tell mee, does anyone actually save now-a-days? Or does everyone live from check to check? Tell mee what do you think/do?

When we first got married and had young children we lived from hand to mouth. After the children had grown up and got jobs we dicided to plan for our future. We have a pension fund and we also have a special savings account. My husband is a worrier so he keeps a check on everything so that we can enjoy a comfortable lifestyle if the worse should ever happen.

I am so glad to hear that someone else saves like I do. I do not understand the whole idea of not looking out for your future.
I remember when I was growing up we use to have to scrimp on alot of things because I am the baby of six. The only times we had to scrimp was when Dad was on strike. So I do not want to ever have to worry about that.
Thank you for the response and have a great day!!
