time limit for responses / myLot

(i)Is there any laid down timit limit for posting responses to a discussion. When a user post/start a discussion from that point of time .........upto how many days/hours one can give response? Or is there no time limit? Is there also a number limit i.e. could there be any number of responses for a discussion...are they accepted? (ii)Once a user who started the discussions has selected the 'Best Response', will it be appropriate to reply to that discussion even after 'Best Response' has been selected? (iii) After how many days/hours 'Best Response' to a discussion should be appropriate be selected?

(i)I believe there is no time limit for posting responses. I have replied in some discussions 2-4 months ago.^^ (ii)Yes, it's okay. (iii)It depends on you, dear.^^ I hope this helped answer your questions somewhat.V^_^

here are my answers to you question: i; there is no limit for the responses to a discussion. if a user starts a discussion, you can respond to it even it it is weeks, months old. There is no limit for responses to a discussion too. all responses are accepted. ii; when a user selects a best response it means that the discussion has been resolved. but it all depends upon the user if he will still respond or not. he will still get paid if he responds. iii. you can give the best respose immediately after you get many responses, but you can wait for days even months before giving the best response. like me, if i have a discussion that only has 2 or 6 responses i dont give the best response yet. who knows the following day that discussion will become active and i will get more responses.

I do not think mylot has put any restrictions on these things. When I joined there were hardly 3000 members, and when I want to post responses, I did not find discussion topic. I went backwards and I found a lot of unresponded topics which were posted 6 months ago. I picked up those and responded to it. Even now, when I do not find good topics, I go back and check.

*(1)...No limit for all the points presented in first topic. (No time as well as number limit) *(2)...Yeah, we don't reply for being marked as best one, we share thoughts/views. Its fine if we reply even after best responce is marked. *(3)...its better to select after 2 days. No doubt we get responce even after.That's ur choice, when to selet best responce. Thanks.

Thanks very much for enlightening me and throwing light on the issues which I was not aware. As regards Part (2) above, I think if someone has already marked a 'best response',(when you see the post), in that case if you post your reply, that member may not bother to see your response (may not be applicable for everyone). Though, even after best response has been selected on a disucssion, if I found the topic of discussion interesting, I have responded to the discussion to put up my view point.

Hi dpk, My response to this dicussion is a proof that there is no restriction of time limit on mylot. This is your over five year old discussion and yet I am able to respond to it. Then i do not think there is no number limit to it too as i have seen many discussions more than 100 responses. Yes it is appropriate to respond to discussion though BR has already been selected because these days many people are giving BR to first response they get. I think 7 days is good enough time.
