Let's tell our love stories.
I have known my fiances family for about 13 years and have seen him a few times in our little town but had never met him, one day I got an email on myspace of all things. He emailed me and asked did I know his cousin I emailed back and we started chatting by email, I had bronchitis really bad but he wanted to talk on the phone we ended up spending 3 hours on the phone that night and within the next 4 days we spent we a total of 14 hours on the phone. By the time we went on our first date, it was like we already knew each other. WE have been together everyday since, we now live together and will be getting married soon as I give in LOL
Personally I am still not sure I would of agreed to go out with him if I hadn't already known his cousin for so long. Too many freaks online LOL

I was on holiday and so was my husband. We were both visiting our parents. He lived fairly close to where I lived, but I had never met him even though he was a good friend of my brother. This time he planned a party for New Year with some of my friends, so when they asked me to come over I decided to go over at the very last minute, I asked my mum if I could drop in for about an hour and I would be back soon. She agreed. We were introduced, we got talking, we decided to leave the party and went to a friend's place, we talked all night until around 10:am on New Year's day. I was due to leave that day, he convinced me to stay until the following morning. We joined a group of friends and again spent all night talking until he dropped me off to the airport early on the 2nd. He was still on holiday, so I decided to come back and spend some more time with him. After our holidays were over we kept in touch as we lived in different countries. Our phone bills were unbelievable, so were our bills for airline tickets, nearly a year later in December, we got married. We have been together for over 10 years and married for over 9. We are still madly in love with each other! We also have a gorgeous daughter!

I met my husband at my work actually...His bosses were both regular customers at the club i danced at and I knew them somewhat and one night they brought my hubby in with them and I guess I was on stage and when he saw me he was floored at how long my legs were and he tripped over a table!! LMAO anyway he started coming in regularly and got to know a coworker of mine but one night when they (him and the bosses) came in the coworker invited me to the table and my hubby and i started to get to know each other then next thing I knew he was comin in all the time to see me...LOL needless to say though the coworker wasnt too thrilled since she had the hots for him in a bad way LOL

I know what you mean, in this world, in these days, you'd find many crazy perverts online who only want a physical relationship... It's such a shame...
I pretty much met my partner like a year ago, but we just recently have been together for almost exacly 2 months... She just asked me out.. which is weird because usualy it would be the guy asking the girl out :P Anyways she asked me out and we had a good time, i got to know about her more... She wasn't the person in class, when i talked to her, she was another 'her'. Like me, i have a home self and a friend self... It's kind of complicated :P

I knew his brother for about 4 years, and i didnt even know he existed, he lived in ontario and i lived in nova scotia. So one day his brother was talking about him and i stopped him mid sentence and was like whoa whoa whoa hold on, YOU have a brother? and he proceeded to tell me he had many and how i could get ahold of the specific one he was speaking of. So i contacted him online, and we talked for many months. He came to visit, and was supposed to stay for two weeks and ended up staying for 3 months. When he had to come back to ontario, i decided i had to go with him because i couldnt live without him. and i made the big move, i just jumped in head first, and here we are happily ever after :) We are now married and have a baby together and we love eachother very much :)

I met her in the church. My fellow friend introduced this lovely girl to me. I never knew that she would become my wife. Both of us were surprised to find both of us getting along each other very well, and we got married in just 9 months after we first met. Yay that was too fast! :)

I met my current boyfriend through yahoo chat. I was bored and not sleepy one night and so logged onto yahoo chat.I started chatting w him, we hit it off nd continued chatting for a few days before moving onto the phone. We talked on the phone for hours and hours for about a month and then finally met. We again hit it off, there was a lot of chemistry between us and have been together for 6 months now. I do hope that things continue to work out for us in the future too.

I was engaged to somebody when I met my husband.
I was engaged but no actions carried out for wedding, even no words about wedding.
It was not that I was desperate for getting married.
My fiancee was unemployed and had no intention to do business or work at a company. He just live through his parents supply. His parents love him too much and never pushed him to work.
His parents loved me because they thought I would be a great wife and mother.
We were 7 yrs in relationship at that time.
By the time I met my husband, me and my fiancee was working on DVD rental.
My husband never thought that I was in relationship.
By the time, he found out my situation, he fell for me already and was trying to
convince me that he loved me.
I trusted my husband and I got chemistry with him.
I know I was like a traitor to my fiancee. I didn't mean to hurt him.
My family was shocked to hear it. It'll be such an embarrasment.
But it's my life we are talking about.
Some friends of mine said that maybe being in relationship for a long period might bored us and they think that's what happened to me.
Well, maybe they are right, I don't know.
But I don't regret my choice.
I'm glad to marry my husband and never regret what I've chosen though he doesn't come from a rich family like my past fiancee. Now we have a 1 yr old baby girl to cheer up our days =)

I met my significant other in college. We were classmate since first year and then graduated together. At first I had a crush on her, but then she kinda stayed away from me. Although she did had a crush on me too, which she and her friends revealed, I was glad that her secret was said to me. She said it with her friends behind her and I was standing there while absorbing the information. I hugged her and asked her out for lunch, she agreed and then her friends came along and now, we're happy together, still thinking about that happy past which brought us together.

It was September of '04 I had just had a long bus ride in from Houston and came here for a job. The bus station didn't have a bathroom or telephone (imagine that) so I ran to the closest (I thought) gas station. The nice man let me use his facilites, then I found out the job was not real. After spending my last dime to get in this small little town, I was devastated. Salvation Army was my refuge and I came back and collected my luggage. A few months later I had moved to that side of town and his shop has also moved. And there was that nice man again. This time he gave me a ride to the Casino (smokes are cheaper) and gave me a few dollars to tie me over. So after I started working I would pass by his shop while I was walking home from work and I would stop and say hello. And then on payday I returned the favor. And one weekend I was walking to the store and all of a sudden he came up from behind me, put his arm around me and said, "When are we going out?" So the first date was GREAT and then we saw each other again the next weekend. We had a few drinks and he made the comment, "I ought to marry you" and I said, "Ask me again in the morning" So, after we woke we talked about it again and we decided as soon as we got off work. I called him a couple of times that day to give him a chance to back out and joked about if he had his half of the money. We were married 2-09-05 we moved all my things in the following week. Just celebrated 2 years this last month. We are still living a love story, the kindest, sweetist, caring man I have ever met.

I met my significant other in math class in the 10th grade. We started talking about video games. We had phy-ed class together too. We became great friends and I fell for him pretty hard. He was so afraid of going out with me because we were such good friends and he didn't want to ruin that. We dated for 3 years after that, broke up for a little bit (ya know how that goes) and are now back together. This was all 6 years ago. I still love him very much.

At work. Not in the same place, but our paths would cross due to being in the same industry. We knew each other at a distance for quite awhile before pursuing any entanglement.

My wife and I met at the secondary boarding school where we graduated. I was our senior year and I was new to this school. She was already dating someone but we worked on the same shift at the frozen breaddough factory. We got to know each other over the course of the year and when her boyfriend broke up with her I asked her out on a date. We started dating the last month of school and she thought we would not see each other after graduation since we lived 200 miles apart, but she invited me the following week to her house for her graduation party and I went. And I kept on going until we got married 2 years later at the ripe old age of 20. We have been married 30 years now and still going strong. We now both work at the school where we first met.

I met my significant other when we were both in high school . My boyfriend and I had just broke up the day my now husband asked me out . I didn't want to date anyone at the time as I had only just got out of a relationship that day that I was hoping at the time that we might still be able to work things out . In a short period of time I had my husband now and two other guys asking me out . I got tired of them asking me out and said I would go out with the next guy that asked me out , it turned out to be a guy I knew and he was a jerk so while I was seeing him I got to know my now husband as a friend . He asked me out every single day for six months straight and finally one day I agreed to go out with him and we have been together ever since lol .

I got my first job at the age of 14. I met my hubby then as he was friends with one of my coworkers. We stayed friends for many years. In fact he was a guest at my first wedding. Years after we met we started dating. The rest as they say is history.
This August we will have been together 15 years (not married that long just as a couple). This October I will have known him 20 years!
