Who among you here, dont know about Manny Pacquiao?Manny Pacquiao, is the People's Champ here in the Philippines, aside from his contribution to boxing world, he is planning to run as a congressman in his land..
What do you think about his candidacy? does it gives him to be more famous?

i have nothing against manny pacquiao, he's really a great boxer. i'm a big fun of him. actually i always watch his fights. but running as politician... i disagree on this.
those politicians that ask/convince him to run are just wanting to ride on his popularity. manny can help those unfortunate people even he's not a politician.
when manny enters the ring, filipino people unites, he is also the wall breaker between the two sides of politics (pro & oppositions). but if he enter the politics he will no longer be effective wall breaker like what i've said.

popularity is a huge help I think. We have had actors as presidents here in the US. We have had many other actors& sports figures in political offices. Good luck to him if he is a worthy candidate.
