is loving someone you don't know well is real?

can you imagine falling in love with someone you don't really know personally, and whom you know by name? do this things happen accidentally or for a reason?

Somewhat, these things do happen in reality. In chat rooms,people meet and sometimes fall in love without even seeing each other. In the Philippines, it's also possible through text messages, you often fall in love with the sweet messages being sent by someone.
