how to propose a girl

i want to propose to a girl, but seems difficult to do so. Really afraid of being rejected later on. If that happen, everything will become sour in my heart. any suggestions ? I would rather keep the friendship if i know she'll reject me.

Rejection is the cross we men have to bear.
Never being asked is the cross women have to bear. haha
It is a problem all men face at one time or another and you have to pick the right moment when she is just glowing with love for you.
'Will you do me the honour of marrying me?' is a nice traditional phrase to use. Try it!

thanks, my friend. It's a very nice phrase to start with :P . Anyway, I think you are right, no fear of being rejected. Rejection is not that hard to take. Being without money for a month is more painful than being rejected, i guess, haha..

I hate being rejected and now take care not to put myself in a position to be rejected or in fact to have to reject others. It is so embarrasing. But it is something we men have to live with because it is the man's duty to make the first move. Emancipated women will disagree but tradition has it that way. Tough for us. haha
