Just one more thing. Will it be okay if I'm using a proxy? And what will I do exactly, paste it in the browser just like that?

Well, if you ve witnessed a friend lost over $40K in e-gold, and an admin at gpf lost over $10K, how sad it would be. I have posted over 2000 posts on e-gold and online security here or there, but still there are always losses! You can NOT access a paypal, moneybookers account via proxy! You could access your e-gold account via a proxy. But you know, proxy is not secure!

I see, though I'm using a proxy, I still opted for the security to give me a 1-time pin to access my account. Though time consuming, I still feel secure. Thanks friend.

there has been an e-gold trojan, when you try to open the www.e-gold.com site, it opens a hidden page, so when you just logged in, it empty all your money in account! using the ip address is for sure more secure, and actually a bit faster, especially your windows system doesnt store the ip address of e-gold.com.

Without dns propagation, yap, it should be a bit faster using the ip address. Not sure if its more secure.
