I don't think so. I have a 9 month old that eats 6oz to 7oz every 3 hours sometimes longer. Have you tried uping his feedings just a little so that he stays fuller longer. Or babyfood then a bottle a little while later. If my baby eats babyfood sometimes he wont want a bottle until like 4 or 5 hours. But my boy is also a little on the big side.

No i do not think that is too much for your son. Every kid is different. You can buy some tin food for babies that are 6 months old it is only custards and fruit but try that before you give him a bottle and you may find that his wants his bottles a little later. My son has only just started to space out his feeds more to like every 4-5 hours. And has a big feed everynight of 1/2 tin and a full bottle so he sleeps through the night. If that does not work out then keep it the way that you are going. He will soon enough want more bottle and want it less often.

No that's not too frequently. Well Not for my child also. I have a 9 month old that eats a 6oz or 7oz bottle every 3 hours sometimes a little longer. Have you tried uping the feedings just a little to see if he stays fuller longer?
