When mothers are sick . . .

I just got back from my business trip and I was quite exhausted. I didn't have the chance to take a rest and now I catch cold + fever. I can't come close to my 1 yr old.
Fortunately, my mother in law is willing to take care of her, so that I can rest.
But it's so hard to resist my child from getting close to me. I miss her.
What will you do when you're sick while you have a baby that needs you?

I don't think I've ever been too ill to look after my children but I wouldn't be able to keep away from them. If they are in the same place as you, you don't need to physically touch them for them to catch something so you may as well let them come close to you. I know I would have to be completely paralysed before anyone stopped me cuddling my babies.

Yes I agree with you that it's really hard whenever we, moms get sick because we miss our kids and our kids misses us. Whenever I get sick, there is no other way but to give my child first to my parents, they gladly take care of him because they are really so fond of him. It is better that way so that my child will catch the cold that I have. But it hurts me to see my child cry when he wants me to carry him.But it's just temporary and it's for the best so I deal with it.
