Did your child hiccup when in your belly?

The 9th month - The pic was taken 18 days prior to my son's birth.

When I was pregnant, since about the 5th month I felt my child hiccup about each other day! It was so amazing and funny at the same time. When he was born, from his first day he hiccuped every day! I always give him some water to drink to stop it. Did your child hiccup when you were pregnant?

Yep I'm 9 months now (4 days to go!) and my daughter hiccups inside me constantly- there was a period in time when she did every day atleast once- it's quite funny you can see it from the outside as my lower stomach jerks up whenever she hiccups

Wow, good luck and have easy labor! I agree it's so funny to watch the stomach bouncing up and down.

Yes, my son hiccupped A LOT when I was pregnant with him. I try not to eat or drink anything that would make him gassy but he still hiccupped a lot. He continued to hiccup a lot after he's born till probably he's about 6 months old.

Thank you :) I've read that hiccupping doesn't bother infants, both when in thy belly and after the birth. I think it was better for you to eat more healthy food. :)

Yes! My son got the hiccups all the time when I was pregnant with him. It as so funny to watch my stomach have the hiccups lol but at the same time I felt bad for the little guy in there. Even after he was born he got the hiccups all the time and even now at 19 months old he gets them occassionally!

Oh, that's normal, he's getting older and hiccups like older guys do :) Thank you.

Yes he did, at 7 pm everynight. Oddly enough, when he was a newborn, he'd have the hiccups at 7 pm too. I miss seeing my lower belly twitch in the evening lol.

Yes! My daughter did this when I was pregnant with her! Even after she was born. Oddly enough, it was about the same time everyday. My older children called her "hiccup" for a while lol.

OMG, I had forgotten all about that! Oh yes, both my boys got hiccups frequently before they were born. It was so funny feeling that from them, I used to laugh so much!

Me too :) I wonder how our children look like when they're inside hiccupping. And what are they thinking about it? :)

Yes my son hiccuped alot when i was pregnant with him also. It was mainly of a night when i was trying to get to sleep. It felt funny. Sometime when i used to try and go to sleep was when my son was most active in my tummy he used to move around and kick. I used to put my tummy against his back and let Ben kick him so it wasnt always me.

You know? Now that I think of it (I am 8 months pregnant) my baby does hiccup. My baby will bounce in intervals every few seconds every so often. My mom also said that I used to hiccup when she was pregnant with me. I do know that it is normal. My doctor said that eating less sugar and drinking no caffiene helps a lot.
