Many young men in my country choose not to go straight to university after school or the army, but to spend a year travelling around the world. Many of them prefer to go to Thailand or South American countries where they don't need much money for living and can find some work. Do you think it's reasonable to put a whole year off? What did you do or going to do after finishing school or the army?

i am in one of those guys who loves adventure and travelling around the world...that is the reason i hav choosen that type of study as i am doing marine engineering and hope i will have my dreams with me moving around the world.yes1 you may be right as your opinion,i am agree with you that young generation is active to get an easy way to earn wherever it may ,they are ready to go,but i dont think its wrong anyway in nou a days where competition is getting peak and it is tough to earn and get a luxurious life..

While I do believe that education is important, life experience is also important. Sometimes it is more important to see a little of the world and settle yourself down somewhat before starting school again. Sometimes a little life experience goes a long way toward helping someone with their education.
