Do give in to the MAC Limited Edition Collections?

It seems like every month or so, MAC comes out with a Color Story that features limited edition shades and products. Do you buy these limited edition items? Why do you get these items? Is it the hype of it being limited edition? Often, limited edition MAC items will go for more than the retail cost on ebay and other trading sites.

I only buy the sample pots of MAC pigments from places such as E-bay, i enver buy full sizes of anything becuase they're too expensive and i would get bored of a pigment before using it all, and would rather have less of each product but more different choices. Anyway, i would buy a pigment sample of a limited edition pigment, but only if i really liked the look of the colour, i'd enver buy it just becuase of the hype etc.

I don't particular pay attention if it's a limited item or not as long as I like the color or texture of the products.

I don't buy the limited edition items because I'm afraid of falling in love with something in the collection and then not being able to purchase it again. Then again, none of the color stories lately have interested me that much, so I may change my mind if something I think is really awesome comes along.
