The financial structure of our Globe is comming into account between those that have and how they keep others from having any.
They call themselves the Corporation, Big Business, the governments of the world.
Cronyism and Atocracracies come to mind when I look at how the world has been governed in any form, from King to the American Democratic Republic that has manipulated and polluted the world and minds of ALL.
The truth is we have not yet established a true socialistic society working for the common good of the community. We certainly need a government of people representing the will of the people. But do we need a President?
Now about the wealth, should the corporations be allowed to reap grotesque profits instead of being forced to reinvest in the community by hiring more workers and providing less required hours for current workers. Getting everyone working and providing safety and protection of the work force should be the role of the government. If we tax the gross income instead of giving breaks to the wealthy we can grow and provide for everyone.
Currently the tyranny in control is leading us down the wrong path.

I would like to refute most of what you have said in your discussion, but not from an American angle, just as a human.
My simple question is why should I provide for my brother? If I have a better brain that helps make thintgs easier for my borther, why should my brother not pay me for that? As long as I don't cheat others or commit crimes, I have the right to my own efforts, the benefits of the creations of my efforts and my mind.
I need the government to ensure that I, or those dear to me are not robbed or killed or cheated or have crimes commited against them. I pay for that protection to the government by way of taxes and duties, levies, for practically every product or service that I use, I pay taxes too, and I pay them honstly, without evasion as laid down by the law of the land. Take this to the corporation and big business level, and it applies there too.
The government, without a leader would have no direction, no aim and no one to take a decision, no one that would be answerable for that decision. The ball has to stop somewhere, and it does with a leader. Remember, even a small tribe made up of a few individuals would persih if they did not have a leader much faster than they would if they had a pooly skiled leader.
In my country India and the US and Canada and many other nations on this world, you have the right to choose a leader, exercise that right judicously, so that your nation has the right leader.
The ultimate repsonsibility lies with and on the individual.

Well I thank you for your reply in opposition to my own thinking.
As a leader that you seem to think you must have, I think that our philosophies are probably more similar than different. The problem is in the application and use of the leadership.
You know that I'm American, I'm sure that is beyond obvious. And you know that America is known to have this Democratic system, something that we are taught is a way of selecting the best of the best, or that is how it was or is supposed to be. But unfortunately we have seen lately that a person of great wealth and dubious intentions can manage to get into this position of being a leader and they have great power to manipulate the world and our resources.
I would say that somehow the system failed us, and that is also obvious.
The question that keeps beating in my brain is why do we need a leader? I see a lot of teaching that manipulates our thinking to believe that we need to be lead by a single individual, but I see no evidence that there is any need for this single leader. Let's apply the corporation theory as you brought that up. We have a sales staff and an office staff, we have a purchasing department and a marketing department. We have workers and product handlers and systems all the way through from bringing in a raw material and producing a final product. We can set up a team to maintain our facility and explore the viability for growth setting aside the needed resources to keep growing. Once the team is in place what does the leader have to do?
It is not the work of a single individual that makes a corporation grow but the work of the team to be willing to do the right thing to be economically prosperous.
The question is asked in the Bible when the Israelites first decide that they need a leader, it was against the plan of GOD and GOD tried to dissuade or persuade the Israelites from making for themselves a King or Leader.
At the time I first read that I nearly fell asleep many, many years ago. I just wasn't getting the importance of those words. Then I watched how America was falsely lead to war by our leader and his administration, preventing any opposition to his plans from being heard. They lied, and continue to lie and things just keep getting worse and worse instead of better.
How do you want to live?

are you really willing to go to the voting boxes for every decision your president makes daily about how the country should be run? and i wouldnt look to corporations as a guide to how to make a country run well.
