Does anyone else think this new "Logan wants to date Veronicas Friend" plot is kind of lame? If you ask me, they are just throwing that in there as a twist, but I have a feeling Veronica and Logan will get together sooner or later.
I feel like I missed something. Last episode I saw, I thought it was last week, Logan's little babysiting buddy spilled to Veronica how much he loved her. I missed the episode after that. I thought that was going to be the start of them getting together, but now this Parker thing is thrown in. I really think it's just a diversion so that later on they can put Veronica in a sitatuation or something where Logan must decide... and of course he will choose Veronica.
What are your thoughts?

I don't really mind this whole Logan and Parker plot because I have wanted Veronica and Piz to end up together. Piz seems to disappear for several episodes at a time and then reappears again. I mean what is up with that. I think that Veronica and Piz would make a cute couple. Logan and Veronica break-up so much its not even funny. I think they aren't right for each other and its obvious that Piz likes her.

Hmm, well they may have her date someone else for awhile, but I can totally see where they are going with it - Logan and Veronica will be together eventually if you ask me. I like them as a couple actually. Even though they do fight and break up a lot, they really seem to love each other a lot. It's almost like they break up because they love each other so much that they are over protective!
But maybe Piz will come in the picture for a short relationship with Veronica to mix it up a bit! Anything to make the show less predictable is fine with me :)

Oh, I would ove to see Piz and Veronica together, even if just for a little while. The problem is that I think Piz is too smart and would notice that her feelings for him are not as strong as they are/where for Logan. I personally am liking to see things mix up a bit because it keeps things interesting. I just hope that the Logan and Parker things doesn't totally end up in a huge heartbreak for Parker. I know that Veronica has been through a lot too, but poor Parker. I didn't care for her at first, but she's kinda grown on me. I'd like something nice to happen for her.

In the last episode Logan gets shanghaied by Mac and Parker to do a Valentine's Day scavenger hunt. That is where him and Parker start to hang out. They were really cute together. Veronica even saw them having lunch at the end of the episode and they looked "chummy" so she knew something was going on before Wallace, Parker or Logan ever said anything to her.
I think Logan is just lonely. He has no one really. His parents are gone, his sister is who knows where, his friends aren't the greatest. All he really had was Veronica. I don't think he knows how to be alone so now he is clinging to Parker for that companionship he needs.
I thought it was sweet that they both tried to talk to Veronica about it. Logan still cares about her, still loves her he is just lost and confused. Can't blame him, though. Veronica is a hard person to love, lol. Well she makes it hard on other people, anyways.

Yeah I read something about them having lunch together but didn't have time to read the whole recap - thanks for the summary!
I know he has noone, but don't get why he doesn't spill his feelings for Veronica since he was sooooo upset last I watched that he wouldn't even leave his room.
I have a feeling that they will make it real dramatic later on - like he'll be with Parker but want Veronica and be conflicted - and Parker will somehow or other get hurt. I honestly hope the show is not that predictable since last season it surprised me a lot (especially the ending) so hopefully they mix it up more than I'm thinking :)

I think his reason for not saying anything to Veronica is that he already did. Remember he poured his heart out to her voice mail but she deleted it before she heard the whole thing (he tells Heather--the little girl he babysits--that he told her and it didn't seem to matter). He thinks Veronica heard his confession but didn't care. Veronica never heard it so has no clue how Logan really, truly reels.
These two are so on again off again it is funny. Like a turnstyle or something. My favorite episode with the two was the one where she is taken to the motel by the undercover cop (that she thinks is going to attack her) and Logan comes to her rescue then kisses her afterwards. After all they had gone through in the past (which they mostly just hint at during the first season) he falls for her. They are meant to be together but they are both so bull headed, especially Veronica.

Well, I agree with the other posts, Logan just needs to have some normalcy in life. In the past everything has been going in extremes, with him being obsessed with protecting Veronica from the campus rapist, to finding out his gambling buddy is actually the culprit, and then breaking up with Veronica. I just wanted to see him clean and freshly shaved out of his hotel room, and if its to spend time with Parker, why not?
Veronica and Logan need to explore the possibilities, and eventually, if and when they realize that they are meant to be, they'll know this with absolute certainty -- hopefully.

I think pairing Logan and Parker takes away from the noir element of Veronica Mars. There is absolutely no need to have these two characters in a relationship together. The show is primarily about Veronica, and as much as people love Logan he should have never become half of the focus for the show.
In the last episode screened, there were a juxtaposition of scenes between Logan and Parker which were just not needed at all. This show is not about petty "should I or shouldn't I" problems.
