Is Hip-Hop Dead in it's current state? Some may say yes, some may say no. I in fact, say no it is not dead. Here's why. Although mainstream rap is taking over the globe in markets from clothing, sneakers, cologne, sports ownership, alcohol, clubs, radio, etc...I still think that if you dig you can find great Hip-Hop music. Granted there is a lot of junk that is being portrayed as Hip-Hop right now which flat out isn't. Hip-Hop is about expressing one's self, not for money but for a sheer connection with the listener and the audience. It's also about expressing the culture and your everyday life in your music.
