I'm so excited. The Buena Park Library is letting me do a gourd art display for March and April 2007. My set up day is tomorrow. I have most of the gourds packed and ready to go but I have a few that still need a tweak or a bit of spray finish. I'm glad it's sunny today. I couldn't very well do it in the rain yesterday. My boyfriend was going to let me display his as well but he got cranky and backed out at the last minute. So I hope I have enough. I'll find out tomorrow when I do the setting up. Wish me luck.

Congratulations! Your work is beautiful. Gourds make me think of my grandparents who passed away last year. They hada farm and gourds were plentiful there. My Grandma sometimes painted them, but they also enjoyed displaying the ones with unusual shapes. I used to live in Cypress and know where the BP library is. I hope you take pics of the display to show! Do you make these to sell or just for fun?
