Why people doesnt like to hear advices?

Most people do not listen to advice because they do not want to be told what they should do. It is a pride/ego thing. It is not always easy to accept that somebody is more superior than you. But sometimes, when the problem and advice are about love, it is not pride/ego that stops the listener from heeding the advice. It is the stubborn heart that overpowers logic. When the heart is involved, a person usually cannot think clearly.

i think it depends on the situation....if advice comes from my mother or father or a person that loves me, i am taking his or her advice into the greatest consideration i can...I think that only people we love can really help us and tell us things for good...if advice comes from other people, well it depends..I don't like people telling you what you should or not should do without being requested...how do they think they can know what is better for me? There is a famous song in Italy from Fabrizio De Andrè that says...people, who cannot give bad examples anymore, are always giving good advice!!! it is a humorous song but it tells the truth...there are some people who think they know everything and express opinion about everything, even about things that they cannot do theirselves or never could do...I don't like this people...on the other hand, if I ask someone for advice, i am concentrating on his or her words, in order to widen my mind

I don't like hearing advice unless I really asked for that advice. I hear a lot of unwanted advice as a parent, from how I need to start spanking to how I'm ruining my marriage by cosleeping! I don't mind it at all if I need it and ask someone for the advice, but as a grown woman I find it irritating if someone tells me what I need to do in life.

I believe it is from our tendency to assert our independence from other people is the reason why poeple don't like hearing advices. Advices, wether good or bad, may be viewed as another person attempt to undermine our independence.

i think its because those who needed the advice already knows what to do.its sometimes hard to think that the resolution to his/her problem would come from another person.or sometimes we just dont really want that advice and we just want to deal with the problem ourselves.its like a pride thing maybe..

Some people will take advice as criticism, and sometimes it is disguised that way! We all want to think we know what is best for us. I try not to give advice unless asked for it, and that can be hard when you see someone messing up! But when the boss tells you to quit playing around and get back to work, you'd better listen if you value your job! I just wish I had a nickel for every time my husband and I have given our children advice that was disregarded! Many times we have heard "I wish I had listened to you and dad". Sometimes we just have to learn the hard way!

I guess everybody likes to belive that they know better...that we know what's good for us and we don't need anyone to tell us otherwise...And boy, we are wrong!

People don't like advice when they don't ask for it. The last thing people want is to feel like someone else is trying to tell them how to run their life. A person should wait to give advice until someone asks for it. I tend to ask for advice from people who aren't constantly trying to give it to me, unsolicited.

Obviously, people like to hear good news and don't like to hear bad news -- that a simple part of human nature.

Because everyone have their own opinions and some people don't take it too well when being told what to do. Advices are better given when solicited.

i dont like advices.....unless they r good...for me. however u r a good advicer for me!!!!!!

because sometimes or should I say a lot of times. People are scared of hearing the truth. Because at times we ten to see things we wanna see, and ignore things we dont want to consider. But that things are the ones we need. The one that will help us, the one that hurts. Also, the one that is better.
