I refer here to Indian team.Is fielding so imp to win a match?How far is it gud keeping laxman out owing to his bad fielding? Cant he hit 30 more runs than the runs saved by a fielder?Its so unfair.....What do u say?

No, in today's competitive cricket, saving runs is necessary and if he scores some extra runs, he is also using some balls and getting quick runs is a bonus to saving runs.
Saving runs not only helps to reduce the runs but also wickets because good fielding can pressurize teams to score quickly and then they loose wickets. This is what AUS has been good in.
