Are you an adult reading "children's books"?

I have read all of the Harry Potter books and I am looking forward to the next one.
Right now I'm reading "Inkheart" by Cornelia Funke. My son's aunt gave it to him for Christmas. HE still hasn't read it, but I'm LOVING it!I guess it depends on the 'level' of the book. It's not like I'm reading Dr. Seuss, LOL. I feel like the Harry Potter Series and "Inkheart" are good books for children AND adults. The vocabulary is challenging enough for a child to learn something while they are reading the fantasy stories.
As an adult, I just love a good book.

Thanks for sharing...
Knowledge is gained by reading books of ALL types. Some of the best books ARE children's books, which ordinarily have a lot of moral lessons.
I don't think, as adults, we can afford to be snobbish or elitist.
If you think you're "too advanced" for children's books, fine. But there is nothing wrong with reading them along with your other book selections.

Tee hee! It's totally a guilty pleasure for me. I love all the Harry Potter books and I also like the series The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. And I also like Dr. Seuss books... Haha, but I only read those to my daughter. They're my fave to read to her. I've never heard of Inkheart, but maybe I'll try it.

I think I liked The Lion, The Witch & the Wardrobe when I was a kid. I don't like them now, LOL.
Inkheart is great! Without giving too much away it's about a girl named Meggie who lives with her single father. Meggie's dad is a bookbinder. One day a mysterious stranger comes to their house and calls Meggie's dad Moe by the name "Silvertongue". And the intrigue begins. :-)
It's so good!
If you like the Harry Potter books I think you'll like this one too. There's another one in the series called "Inkspell" and after I finish this one I'll start on that.
