Hi there! I had insomnia a few nights ago, turned on the telly and there was an interesting program. 100 soldiers from the Thai military had a tug-of-war with an elephant! Guess who won! Man or Beast? Vote now!!! Watch this space! I'll reveal the answer in 2 weeks! Cheers!

I've done this at 6 Flags in Vallejo and the elephant wins without breaking a sweat. Although she seemed to be having a good snicker.

Hi Manifestabundance, I'd say that if it was a straight out tug-o-war, with no shenanigans, then the elephant would easily have won. I'll check back in a couple weeks to see if I congratulate 'Dumbo' of if I eat crow.

To 'eat crow' is to eat your own words. To be embarassed by being wrong. Sorry, I guess it is unreasonable to think that everyone is familiar with all old sayings. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'll be more aware of this in the future.
