Chicago bulls GM John Paxson decided not do do any trade that would involved Deng moving to Memphis while Spanish superstar Pau Gasol goes to Chicago. Is this a good decision? what do you think?

I think it was a good decision. I personally think that Luol Deng has the most potential of all the Chicago Bulls players. Although Gasol is a good player he is still running risk for more injuries. If the trade would have gone through, and Gasol would have suffered an injury all hopes would be gone for the Bulls in the playoffs. I don't want any of the Bulls prospects to be traded away any time soon.

I also believe that sticking with their current lineup and opting not to acquire Gasol is a very good decsion for the chicago bulls. Go BULLS!!!

Sorry for the late response but i guess we all know the answer now. Pau has made lakers much better & gave Lakers some inside presence

This is by far the best deal that the bulls did not make. They could have easily gotten him, in comparison to what the lakers gave up.
So they basically messed up big time.

yes its the best thing that john paxson didn't pull the trigger... if they can't do it this season then maybe next year they can make it because they can make a run at bigtime free agent like kevin garnett and company. plus the knivks draft pick

either way it could've been good. but keeping loul deng is the better one (this season at least). deng and the bulls have good chemistry and deng is chicago's most consistent scorer. sending gasol in is a good move too since he'll be a perfect complement for ben wallace.
the trade should've been ben gordon for pau gasol
C-wallace
PF-gasol
SF-deng
SG-hinrich
PG-duhon
that's a killer line-up!

I think it was a good decision. They have a nucleus of healthy young talent. No need in doing a MLB on us. They change with the weather. Stay satble
