Are there any grandparents raising a child?????

Past tense with me. I had just finished raising my children and when I tought about returning to work, along came my first grandchild. My daughter was quite ill with numerous health problems, so I offered to take care of the baby. Again, just when she was four years old and things were getting a bit easier, along came the second grandchild. Another baby for me to mind. Both children were very permature but the secon one has mild cerebral palsy, so I spent my days taking her to all her hospital appointments. The children were never a problem and were quite well behaved so I didn't have a difficult time. It was just like being a mother all over again. My daughter eventually got married last year and move to a different county. I see them quite often and I phone the children every evening, so I don't miss them too much. I must admit though, I am glad to have my freedom again. If I can help you with anything, you can send me a pm anytime.
