I was out at the gocery store today with my mother in law when I saw a woman breastfeeding right out in the open. I have no problem if you cover yourself up with a blanket or a towel but she just lifted up her shirt and went to town. I thought it was extremely inappropriate. What do you think?

Oy, if you don't like it, don't look. She wasn't doing this for a show, she was nourishing her hungry child. That's a natural thing. Some babies do not like being covered up, my niece would always pull the blanket off of her, which my sister didn't always expect-then you would get quite a peek lol. Plus, it's not comfy to drink under a blanket, try it sometime.

I also had a problem with my son not liking me to cover him with a blanket, I think that I was more uncomfortable than anyone else whenever he pulled it off, but I am modest about that stuff.

Well I'm not too comfortable with doing it myself so I would express and make sure I have something for when the baby is hungry, but I guess the woman had to feed her baby there wasn't much she could do about it and yes some babies hate having anything near their face when they are feeding.
