Often, we want to make homemade cookies but just don’t’ have the time. Did you know that there is a way to have fresh homemade cookies that are as simple as taking them out of the fridge, slicing them and baking. Now how simple is that?
Lets face it, we have all had times when the kids come home and say that they need to take cookies to school tomorrow. I don’t know why kids don’t think to tell us that they will be needing cookies till it is time to take them but they don’t. This always seems to happen when we are stressed out. There is a way to avoid these stressful times in our lives by preparing ahead of time.
There are many recipes available that you can make, roll the dough up, wrap the dough and put it in the refrigerator till you are ready to bake them.
I have posted 3 separate cookie dough recipes.

I love your recipes my dear. I have copied many of them for later use. My plan is to make a recipe book for the kids with all the recipes I have collected over the years.
Can these doughs be frozen?

I am going to make some of these to bring to my grandkids so they can bake with their parents. That way they won't have to deal with the mess.

After my older sister got married, we would mke up a huge batch of refrigerator cookies, and then flavor them four different ways. We enjoyed this, as mom never liked to bake cookies, and we seldom did it at home. You know Pillsbury had to get the idea from somewhere, but homemade is much more economical. Tastier, too, and we know what is in them. No preservatives.

Oh wow! Those are great recipes! I went to your post on the Chocolate one and I think I'll make that one to have on hand. We just purchased a tub of pre-made cookie dough from the school and paid $12 for it! This would definitely be cheaper and will probably taste a lot better too! Thanks!
