My kids eat all sorts of stuff. Their favorite is chicken--usually grilled after being marinated in italian dressing.
Last night we had this spaghetti/pizza skillet thing. It was just Italian sausage, spaghetti sauce, onions, green peppers and mushrooms mixed together with some water and spaghetti cooked for like 10 minutes then mixed with some black olives and covered with pepperoni and mozzerella cheese. It turned out really good and the kids are already requesting it again.
They also love mac and cheese mixed with cooked hamburger and peas. It is quick and easy and the kids love it.

I like that mac and cheese dish. It sounds good. I try to cook a casserole once a week. I have one day for chicken, one day for ground beef, one day we act like vegetarians (no meat that day) and try to keep it interesting! Tater Tot Casserole is one of our all-time favorite recipes.

I did that for awhile after my 4yo was born. My husband was working days for the first time and was home for dinner. I always make enough for leftovers though, so I only needed a new meal every other day.
At least once a week we have tacos and chicken and hamburgers. I also like casserole dishes (or skillet dishes) because the veggies are mixed in and it gets the kids to eat more of the ones they don't really like (like peas and carrots).
The other day I made my own rice pilaf. It was this brown/wild rice mix I had with zuccinni, peas, mushrooms and green onions (because that was what I had in the fridge). It turned out really good and my son loved it. My oldest daughter won't eat rice unless it is Rice-a-roni and had cheese sauce.
The mac and cheese one has been a hit for years. It is best with the velvetta shells kind.
