hi! anyone here who is working and studying at the same time? i am doing this but i find it extremely difficult to balance my time and priorities. i tend to be ore motivated to earn money than to finish my degree. i know this is wrong but i keep doing it anyway. any pieces of advice from people who have been through this sort of thing? i would really appreciate it. thanks!

Yes, I do understand your plight. I too am trying to complete my degree and have so much to balance that it does become a challenge. However, like someone said in another post, we just have to prioritize and make it happen! It definitely is not easy, but if we pace ourselves and chip away a little each day, it has to happen, right?

It must have been hard juggling with studies and work. I have not done both together at the same time before but I do know that I learnt very different skills from each component. While studying enriches your mind, working will actually stretch your ability to surviving in the society. Afterall, it is not just certification that will get you through life anymore.

well as a matter of fact, you are opportuined to have to you. its never wrong 4 one to work and as well go schooling. all i have to advice is a little planning of your time, ok lets get started. Maybe u have lectures due for 8am-10am, all u need do is this, go for the jobs that will allow you have time for your morning lectures instead of going for the work, make sure your timetable has been carefull mapped to siut both activities. i think with that you would not encounter problems during your schooling and working hours. thanks

hi, i'm a student of b.tech computer science and have classes from 9 to 5 but i easily manage. what i do is that i don't allow my concentration to waver during my classes and attend them regularly due to which i've to do very little work at home. so i easily devote that time in my leisure activities.
its working for me as i spent about 2-3 hrs on mylot.hope it works for u.
also, u can spend more time on weekends if u want.

hi Hitmen! indeed, a time for rest is needed. i think this is my major problem that's why i am burning out easily. i do not have ample time for leisure...

Yes, its really difficult to balance time and priorities, but i like you to finish your degree, you can do that. Don't let your eye be spark by the amount of money your earning right now, because you can earn trippled when you become professional, and that it when you graduate school. Priorities your study, because a Degree is a thing that cannot be stole from a person, and after that you will find a stable job. It happens to me, and i just listen to the oldies and they are right, and im telling this to you and i assure you it will be fine.

hi greychunny26 thanks for your advice. i intend to achieve until graduate school at least. i guess i am just being demotivated right now that's why i am tempted to believe that i can just plug through and stop studying.
