I have three cats and all of them are about 5-ish and according to what ppl say they have about ten more years (age15) but some cats live beyond that still. What is the oldest you have seen (or heard) of a cat living?

My inlaws had a cat that lived to be 21 years old, and it wasn't a case of them misremembering or miscounting. The cat was amazing, really, she has also lost an eye when she was very young after falling asleep on a warm car engine and still being there when it was later started. I reckon that cat had more than nine lives!

23 years and she was a real member of the family, my sister mourned over this cat for 6 months bad and still speaks of it like it's still alive. It was a terrible loss. Keep them on a good diet, shots once a year, wormed and clean the ears. Good Luck

Some can live into their twenties.... when I was a little girl, our neighbor's cat lived to be 21. This is pretty ****** rare, though.

There's a fellow in town that made the news, even got on Animal Planet because his cat, Grandpa, lived in to his 30's, like 31. I don't know how he did it, but I do know that he keeps his cats inside & takes special care of them. The oldest I've had is 16.

Many years ago my Aunt Marion had a Deaf cat, "Baby" who lived 22 years, and went gently into the night at her end. Certainly she lived longer than I will in Human years. Ther have been reports of older, but I offer that as my PERSONAL experience.
