does math scares you and why?

I know many people who are afraid of taking math courses. Are you one of them? I read a research saying that most people with math problems actually is not afraid of math but they had very bad experiences with texbooks, profs, of things that influenced their thoughts about math. Many girls heard when they were children that math is difficult for girls. Are you one of these people?

I überly love math. This subject is one of my fortes during my school days, and even got best in math certificates before. Unfortunately, I didn't pursue a degree straightly related to it like engineering or something.
