LOVE that's base from LUST will not LAST

I have these great teacher in my High School, she is always saying this quote to us "LOVE that's base from LUST will not LAST". Is it really true? Can somebody prove her words were wrong?

Love last while lust dont last long.
Well, love based from lust are not recommended, most men or women engaged to this are just playing around with their partners. Maybe, they just want to release the heat in their bodies or just to have fun with someone they think is hot or good looking.
Lust is just a feeling of wantint to have s__, you know. If you really love your wife or husband you can prove it to him or her with passionate s.
