are you closer to mom or dad?

Im closer to my father in terms of borrowing the car, go to gimicks all the highschool stuffs (when i was in HS) but now im getting older im closer to my mom because of the advise (relationship advise) hehehe

As a child I was close to both of my parents( my mom as well as my dad) But as now I am growing up I have kind of drifted away from them. You know as a child when we like someone we consider them our heros and we expect them not to have all the bad qualities that we see and hate in others of the society. But now that I have fallen in love with a girl who is not of my community they have started opposing me and they have even said that it wouldn't have mattered if I had a girlfriend of the same community. And since they said that my hopes from them have totaly fallen apart. Ya I do still love and respecft them but my heart can't and won't be their's again. Hope it never happens to any body. i m more close to mom than dad....mom ve lot of patience and understand our feeling better than dad....mom is like a friend to me
