About Pluto

I think that I have read somewhere that Pluto is no longer a planet of our solar system.Is that true? By the way how many planets do we have in our solar system?9 or 10.

Now we are reduced to 8 nos of plantes after the removal of pluto, our number is third from the vicinity to sun which is at the centre of our solar system and around which we revolve.

Yes it is true. Due to its size, Pluto is no longer considered as a planet in our solar system. I think we only have 8 planets, that is if I am not mistaken.
