police harassment and misconduct

my son and his friend are always being followed by the same two police officers. a couple of weeks ago the my son and his friend left the friends property to get into the friends truck. another man who knew the friends father was also across the street and was drink a beer. the officer stopped and wanted my son and his friend to take a breathalyzer. when my son's friends father came out, he advised the boy's to get back in the yard and told the officer to leave them alone. the officer told the two boy's, he was just waiting for them to get one year older so he could arrest them. niether one of the boy's have ever been in trouble and are good student's at school.

I pose this question, your son and friends really haven't done anything? I find it hard to believe they are innocent, if the police are so interested in them. Of course I am not there, so I may be wrong.

If you know the officers name, I would contact the police department. Find out what section the officer works in and file a complaint with the department. Talk to other people in your town that have kids around your son's age (talk to your son about this as well) they may be having similar problems with this officer. If so, all of you can file a complaint at once and let the police department know how out of control one of their officers has become.

Sounds a lot like LAPD. Too bad this wasn't videotaped.

Even if you don't know the officer, just walk up to him, ask for his full name, his superior's name, and badge number. Your best bet is file the complaint with the county. It may take a little longer, but the stuff will get done right. Local politics can have a tendancy to "accidentally get screwed up".
