what is the appropriate age to get married

Parents are always telling their kids to wait to get married but did they? how old were your parents when they were married?

I think about 25 is good because you have time to get through college and are still plenty young enough to chase around kids!!!

Boy have you got that right. I have 2 kids one 5 and one 10 months. I could not immagine raising them being much older. Thanks

My kids are five years apart also!! In November they will be 5 and 10!!! I bet I can relate to alot you go through!! I have had a blast with my kids and am very happy with their age difference even though I didn't plan it that way!!

As my opiniopn girl should 20 years and man should be 24 years and some other reason we can't say due to the fource of parents and their opinions.

i think my mom was 18 and my dad 21 if i remember correctly. they are divorced now though.I was married at 18 and my hubby was 20 i think

I picked 22 i think it was teh right age for me...Some people are ready at younger ages some at older ages so whatever workd for each person is different..When your in love and cant picture growing old with anyone else and the person you want to marry feels the smae .Then is the right time..

well these days parents have left things to the children as they have realised that they are sensible enough to do things on their own!
As per my thoughts, i reckon that one should marriage when he is stable with life and when he thinks now is the right time i can support someone and make a family

my dad was 23 and mom was 18.. and i got married in 32 yrs of age and my wife was 27 that time.. what abt u?

Hello and Thanks, My Dad was 19 and my Mom was 23 when they were married and they have been happily married for 26 years. I was just married in april I was 25 and My wife was 22.

My parents were married 34 years ago when my mom was 18 and my dad was 22. I was married 8 years ago when I was 19 and my husband was 29.
