Is ARMAGEDDON just around the corner?

I recently read an article that suggest that Armageddon (end-times) is just within our lifetime. I could remember only 6 basis:
1) A powerful 10 nation organization.
2) The rise of a certain nation again into world politics. This nation have been responsible for many world wars thru the ages. This country is unified now.
3) Increase of natural calamities all over the globe. Increase in intensity.
4) Increase of knowledge.
5) One world system to buy and sell goods.
6) Break down of morality.
I almost tremble a the thought of it happening in my lifetime. Would you think it will come to pass within the next 10 or 20 years?

Let's hope for the best. Prayers, hope, HIM.. That's are only chance. We shouldn't be afraid of what is happening to our world for we have less control of these things due to changes. As for me, we should accept it but at the same time, think positive and do things positively. That's the best that we can do. Instead of worrying, let's just help each other and aim for the best.

One of the most probable cause may be number 4. A nation or a certain faction could invent a weapon so powerful that it's blast grows uncontrollably and devours all of earth just like that from spiderman2 only gone wrong. Another would be number 3 and those series of calamities just might trigger another ice age and we humans just couldn't survive that long before the earth recuperates and comes back to become a normal life-bearing environment again. Or perhaps, there could be an outbreak of a dormant killer virus that can wipe out the entire human race from the face of the planet, it could be the likes of the one from resident evil which could mutate humans into flesh-hungry zombies, scary huh!..
