I'm using AVG and I absolutely adore it. Norton used to interfere with some of my programs and give me problems, but this never happened with AVG:) I strongly suggest that you all give it a try:D

I am now using McAfee antivirus. It is the best one i have tried till date. It does a fairly good job spotting known theats and also destroys them as soon as it detects them. A tough competitor to McAfee is Avast. The name may sound funny but it does a good job.

I use AVG Free edition at work. I used to download a lot of them. Antivir is just a demo. NOD32 is much better, but it is just share ware. Avast could not install in my computer. I also use bkav, it is the light one, but powerfull.

You must have an antivirus running at all times. I have Avast. It is free and it does a wonderful job. Actually caught 3 yesterday while I was computing. I trust it very much. They also update the virus almost daily for the newest and nastierst virus etc that come along. I would highly suggest it for everyone!

Just before formatting my memory I used norton antivirus 2006 edition but it slowed my computer a little bit. But now I am using Avast antivirus. I have felt that it is also as good as norton. It is also advanced and has good skins that look beautiful.
