How do you wear your wedding rings?

I've seen people wear their rings different ways. Some wear the wedding band behind the engagement ring, some wear it in front of the engagement ring. How do you wear yours? Is there a right and wrong way to wear them? I'm getting married next week and I'll wear my band behind my engagement ring. I just like the way that looks better.

I wear my wedding band first then the engagement ring. I think it looks better that way, it bothers my husband though, he say I got the engagement ring first so that should go on first =) But to me it looks funny that way...I don't know if there is a correct way to wear them...good question!!

The Justice Of The Peace That performed my wedding told me point blank it was supposed to be that way, wedding band, and then engagement ring, not the way it was given but the opposite, so that's the way i've always worn them

Well I am not sure if there is a wrong or right way but I think that the engagement ring comes first so then when you get married the wedding ban should be the next one. I have been married before and hope to marry this summer. That is how I will wear it.

know what? that is also my question. i'm really not sure where we should wear our wedding rings. i've been wearing mine on my right hand for 11 years now. i hope my responding to this topi will keep this discussion back on top so somebody who might know the answer can see it and can enlighten us.

I don't have my Wedding Ring yet lol (I get married in April next yr!) but I was always told that it's supposed to go behind your Engagement Ring, and so thats the way I'll wear mine.

i was always taught ur wedding band which shows the intwineing of ur heart with ur soulmate was to be worn closer to ur heart on ur left hand under ur diamond, because thats where u want ur love to stay closer to ur heart, and if u wear ur rings on ur right hand ur divorced, and if on ur left hand and opposite sometimes means ur lover is desceased...
