I was in the grocery store the other day and the cashier and an elderly woman (I'd say close to 80) were having a conversation about people not caring about one another. They said that young people are just interested in themselves. Although I didn't participate in the discussion I'd have to agree that the younger people in my neighbourhood have no sense of community. Then I heard yesterday on the radio that a study found that college students are more narcissistic than previous generations.
