At the start of the film mel gibsons wife throat is slit. I saw this on video & it was more graphic than when i saw it on dvd. I take it it was cut. Anyone else ever notice this?

I know the scene you mean but it seemed the same to me. It could be though you remember it as being more graphic because of how it effected you at the time. The mind has been known to do that. It's like with the movie Psycho if you ask people what color the shower curtain is they will often come back with blue or something similar. The movie is in black and white, no color but the scene is so powerful the mind remembers things differently.

I know what you mean. I'm sure you saw the guy in the scene take his knife & put it to her throat. You then saw him cut her throat. You could see the knife go right across her neck, then you saw the blood pour out.

, I loved that film too, the reason being I live in Stirling in Central Scotland ( braveheart country ) I live on the actual battlefield, the battle of Bannockburn 13 14, The country is beautiful, I can see the Wallace Monument from my house, it is only 1 mile away, . xx
