i don't understand how football became rather a full contact sport... players are kicking like van damme, fans are throwing objects with a better acuracy than basse-ball players... it's mad... what are your thoughts about that??

Shame in Spain
The Copa del Rey tie between Real Betis and Sevilla was abandoned after Sevilla coach Juande Ramos was knocked out by an object thrown from the crowd.
The incident happened after Sevilla's Frederic Kanoute scored in Wednesday's quarter-final second leg match.
The Sevilla players left the pitch, causing the game to be halted, while Ramos reportedly regained consciousness after being treated by medical staff.
The first leg, which had been played at Sevilla's stadium, had finished 0-0.
The normal procedure in Spain when matches are called off is for the remaining minutes to be played at a later date.
The build-up to the Seville derby was dominated by arguments between the two clubs over whether or not Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido would be allowed in the VIP box at the Betis stadium.
After mediation by the Andalucian regional government, Betis finally allowed Del Nido to attend the match although a number of fans threw objects at him as he took his seat.
There was further controversy because Betis had placed a bronze bust of Del Nido's arch-rival, Betis owner Manuel Ruiz de Lopera in a seat just behind the Sevilla president.
"You have to point the finger at the culprit, only the culprit," said Del Nido, regarding the Ramos incident.
"This could have happened at any ground. Nobody can avoid this if, among the thousands of fans who enter the stadium, there are 10 lunatics, and unfortunately this happened here."
Del Nido said Ramos had been unconscious for up to 11 minutes before he regained consciousness.
Spain's sports minister Jaime Lissavetzky said he would be calling for immediate action from the Spanish Football Federation.
"This was a shameful incident," Lissavetzky told Radio Marca. "We will be calling an emergency meeting of the Anti-violence Commission and will ask the Spanish Football Federation to deal with this with maximum rigour.
"We must stop incidents such as this or those that happened recently in Italy occurring again."
Last season's cup quarter-final second leg between Valencia and Deportivo Coruna was abandoned after a linesman was cut on the head by a coin thrown from the crowd.
The remaining 46 minutes were played behind closed doors one week later.

Thats the power of money. With this kind of a money moving around and with so much at stake, football being a hard sport, the fight gets physical. And with the players the fans get involved. Its a mad mad world out there i agree.
