kind of ...but more so ood Riddance is about his dad dying. im the biggest greenday fan ever lol wake me up when september ends is about losing friends and girlfriends and winding up as nothing basically

Anything from their first album. I love the old Green Day stuff. I'm a little old now for the new stuff, I guess, but then again not really as I am more or less the same age as the band. I still like them!

Doesn't anybody like anything from older albums like Sloppy or Dookie? I grew up being just alittle older then these guys and getting to see them play before anyone had heard of them. You should check out their earlier stuff. It is sweet and senimental and not as bad as some 'first' albums.

I personally like all of their stuff and grew up listening to their first couple of albums myself. I loved brain stew, all by myself ;0) , and also basketcase and a couple of others from their first albums. I also like their newer stuff too. have you ever listened to I walk alone.? Good song, as are all the others that were mentioned above. JennyB

When I Come Around, was my all time favorite song by Green Day, although I have a huge fondness for Good Riddance and Basket Case. It's hard to pick though.. :) Longview, Minority, Redundant and Brain Stew all remind me of some really happy moments in my life.
