Day Care....

Day Care, Why does it cost so much to have some one watch your kids each day .. i my self have three kids 2 of which are in day care and it cost me $150.00 each kid thats $300.00 a week just for day care and all they do is watch them i have to provide all there lunches snacks dipers wipes fourmula every thing and i know they use my kids dipers and fourmula on others cause i have to buy two cans of fourmula and diapers just for them then i have to aint no way my daughter uses 80 dipers in a week. its a rip off...I was wondering if any one agrees with me :/

I agree with you about the cost of daycare. 300.00 a week is sooo much. How do you even have money left over from your work? Did you ever consider working at home so you dont have to put your kids in daycare? I work at home because I dont really trust daycares and also the cost. You could start your own business at home. I would still work just in the beginning until you get your business going and then you could just stay home with your kids. Saves you alot of money. I would be happy to share with you what I do. Let me know if you need any info~

OH please let me know i have wasted so much money on these work from home bussiness its just not working for me so if you know one please tell me about it.

I work occasionally in a daycare when they are shorthanded. Where I work they don't use other childrens belongings. They have to check every 1 1/2- 2 hours if the child needs to be changed. If the child has wet the diaper even just a little (just a few drops even)the child must be changed.
The daycare charges 12.00 per child a day or $55.00 a week. They even provide all the meals and snacks, except formula. This is also a VERY nice daycare.
I think you should check into other daycares. $300.00 a week seems outrageous to me!

What you pay is awful!!!!! YOu really should consider finding an adult that provides childcare from her home. For 2 children, if you provided their stuff, you may have to pay $100. That would give you a $200 savings a week, plus the cost of the diapers that you constantly buy for day care. They are using them for other children and saving some for emergencies. I would sugguest trying home child care...It really would be cheaper. Just ask for references,and check the person out.
