Will you marry me?

I saw a mylotter explain in punjabi, how to propose But in most of India, the proposal is supposed to go from the girls dad to the boys dad There would be hardly 2% cases, where the boy himself proposes the girl. In big cities like bangalore and mumbai this might be 10-15%, and in rural almost zero. Anybody who knows india and disagrees? sunavi

I actually "proposed" to my husband. We had talked about marriage, but then I entered a radio contest that paid for the wedding and honeymoon. I was one of 10 winners !! I went home and wrote my husband a note asking him if he would marry me then explaining the contest. We got married and had our 15 minutes of fame as it was covered by news teams in our area. I was married on February 14, 1996 by a radio station and 11 going on 12 years later we are still happily married !!!

well.. sad to say, i'm still waiting for his proposal. i'm so excited for that day. i wanted to get married.

Well i'll tell u in Punjabi Language that if girl will proposed me then she will say me in Punjabi "Tusi menu buhat pasand ho ki tusi mere nal shaadi karonge" it's mean u like me very much will u marry me" But i'll say u for this 1st proposed to any one see the think of both, nature, habbits then u can say that will u marry me.
