Are you Superstitious?

Superstitions are considered to be an irrational belief that an object, action, or circumstance not logically related to a course of events influences its outcome.Its a belief, practice, or rite irrationally maintained by ignorance of the laws of nature or by faith in magic or chance.
you might have heard that its lucky to touch wood; its lucky to find a clover plant with four leaves; a horseshoe hung over the door brings good luck; its unlucky to see one magpie, lucky to see two; number 13 is unlucky; its unlucky to see bats flying etc.
Do you think you yourself believe in such supertitions? If yes, can you list a few and how have they been affecting you?

The main two superstitions I have is that I'm scared of breaking a mirror, apparently it's seven years bad luck if you break one oh and yes I salute a magpie if I see just one, seeing two however doesn't bring me luck, but no misfortune either. I like the number 13 and Friday 13th tends to be fairly lucky, I had a windfall once on Friday 13th I don't go in for lucky mascots or lucky rabbits foot because that is unlucky for the poor rabbit, who's lost it!

i consider myself too superstitious. i believe in almost all the irrational faith that people have and about which I know. But there are a handful of them on which I have a strong faith. one of them being that seeing one magpie is unlucky, and seeing two is lucky. i hope you have heard of this- "one for sorrow, two for joy...".Its got no logic but whenever i am going out for some work and i see one magpie on my way, i become sure things will either not happen or will go wrong.

well im bit superstitious..not every time..only in few cases..but my mom is very superstitious....some times i use to get anger on my mom the way she believes the superstitious....you should believe superstitious,,,but it should not be crazy...

yeah, may be you are right frn, but if somethings happen in your life which is unexplainable by anyone, and it keeps happening all the time you see the same omen, then you will be compelled to believe on it, blindly. may be there must be an explanation, beyond the reasoning power of a man.
